Dear Reader,

I learned about the wrong fit when I was a child. In every aspect of life my dad taught me how to select the right fits, which enabled me to eliminate the wrong fits. Let’s see how this concept works.
When we shopped for food, my dad showed me how to select the right cantaloupe. He told me to smell it to figure out whether it was ripe and feel it to be sure it was firm. We only bought the cantaloupe that was sweet smelling and firm. If the cantaloupe did not meet both criteria, it was the wrong fit cantaloupe for us.
When I shop for a cantaloupe today, I still use my dad’s criteria and I always select the right cantaloupe. I never select a cantaloupe that has no smell and/or is too soft.
In your professional and personal life do you use criteria to select the right fits, thereby eliminating wrong fits? Wouldn’t it be wonderful, for example, to pick
- the right fit job
- the right fit spouse
- the right fit house?
Start developing the criteria and begin eliminating obvious wrong fits.
